Lot 13 1891-O Morgan Silver Dollar
Struck at the New Orleans Mint, this silver dollar features the classic Liberty Head design on the obverse, depicting Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton, with the word LIBERTY inscribed on her headband. Surrounding inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date 1891. The reverse displays an eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, encircled by a wreath and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR, with the "O" mintmark positioned below the wreath. Metal content: 0.77344 troy ounces of 90% silver and 10% copper.
